Memorial Day is coming up…The closest shout-out to summer we can think of. So what are your plans? We have ideas for Memorial Day travel and Memorial Day at home.
Unless you already have plans to go visit family, we suggest you check out this great website. Travelmuse.com is my go-to destination for travel ideas. My personal favorite application is their “get inspired” section. Put in your budget needs, travel preferences, desired activity and desired flight time and they provide you with inspirations. If I want to go wine tasting on a $500 a person budget on an 8 hour or less flight I can choose up to 4 locations in Canada, New York and more (the budget includes airfare and hotel accommodations.) The possibilities are endless! And even if you can’t square away vacation time for Memorial Day weekend, you can generate ideas for the future. Check it out at travelmuse.com
Don’t forget to stock up on your Sense Essentials Travel Collection before departure—Sense Clothing will be your best travel companion and will keep you looking chic on your vacation.
Host a lunch or dinner party for your friends and family…
Real Simple’s website provided us with some creative ideas (and some ideas of our own) for a low key party with suggestions like:
Skip the table cloth and use brown paper. It’s easy for clean-up and looks clean and classic.
Don’t stress about having proper glasses for drinks—many of your guests may opt for a non-alcoholic beverage anyway, besides, there is something fun about drinking wine from a mug!
If you don’t have the perfect play list, Pandora.com is a great solution.
Grilling? Kabobs are a fresh alternative to burgers and buns and can be packed with veggies. Ask your guests to bring their favorite marinade and make them together.
Float tea-candles in bowls of water—they look beautiful but you don’t have to worry about them and you won’t spend a dime on candle holders.
When the sun goes down and you are ready to move inside, break out the board games! Get your yoga gear on for a classic game of twister or for showing off your smarts try Apples to Apples, Cranium or Scattegories. We think these games are an absolute blast for everyone (even those who hate board games).
You couldn’t be more comfortable entertaining in our Baggy Tank & Flirt Skirt —easy clothes that look great and feel fantastic.
P.S. Our Popular Flirt Skirt hits stores this week!

As the cab drove away from my hotel on a recent visit to San Francisco I realized I left my new favorite travel piece in the closet. I was already running late! What to do? Should I risk missing my flight in order to be wrapped in my yummy garment dyed cotton modal jacket? Yes! "Please take me back to the hotel, I forgot something!" The panic in my voice sounded like I left my wallet in my room. Cleaning ladies were busy as I breathlessly ran in to grab my Sense Shawl Jacket. Alas! It was gone. I called the front desk to see if someone had dropped it off at lost and found. (Sigh). Oh Well, at least I know where I can go to replace it! Lucky me, and lucky you ~ If you are reading this I invite you to order the "Sense Shawl Jacket" for yourself and use this discount code for $50 off. You heard that right! Use discount code: shawljacket50 at checkout... and don't leave it behind! https://iwantsense.com/collections/available-now/products/shawl-jacket

I woke today and slipped into a pair of casual lounge pants made of cotton modal french terry in a heather grey from my 2012 collection. Is it possible these pants are 5 years old? Well indeed they are and with plenty of mileage I might add!
I grabbed a ribbed tank from last summer and then 2014's boatneck bias top and admired myself in the mirror. Do I look too stylish for a Sunday? It just doesn't seem right to be so comfortable and look so on point! I believe that complimenting myself is an important part of the day. Confidence is everything and no matter how I feel, I can always find something to feel good about. Today its my outfit #OOTD.
My closet is full of Sense, in fact I have the original tunic pant from the 2005 collection and I still wear them! Through the years we have tried to design pieces that would stand the test of time. The use of modern colors and simple styles make it easy to wear Sense in so many ways. Dressing should be fun and easy. We hope you can share some of your favorite Sense items from any of our Collections. Have a look at our Sense retrospective page and tell us what you would like us to make again. After all, we love to make Sense!
spring is almost here and Sense is offering cool shades of grey’s in light weight fabrics. our new styles are modern basics that you will love to wear with your white jeans or denim shorts. who doesn’t love a heather grey tee shirt? we have so many styles to choose from: tanks, boxy crops, baggy T’s, 3/4 necks and long sleeve raglans. summer travel is easy with Sense.
